History:

After many years in the industry, the founder of Actif Bioresources saw an unmet challenge facing the research community: Great mechanistic theories are only the first step in extending the understanding of how the human body operates and interacts with both internal and external stimuli and threats. Lacking, in many cases, is the wherewithal to put those theories to the test in reality.

That's why Actif was founded--to provide that wherewithal: Connecting researchers to the needed materials, facilities, services, and support necessary to allow the expansion of understanding as well as potential treatments for conditions which afflict humanity.

Founded in 2005, Actif has provided these necessary requirements to allow hundreds of researchers in both academia as well as industry achieve new breakthroughs in their understanding of how to interpret the complex human physiology. Assisting in support of early phase through Phase II clinical trials, new operational understandings have been achieved in multiple indications in Cardiology, Oncology, Endocrinology, and Psychology.
